workshop in Lee Hall

"It provided a good overview - in an easy-to-follow yet comprehensive manner, whilst providing enough detail and instruction that I could go away and trial the techniques to see which worked best for me. I only wish I had taken the course earlier!"

WolfWorks is a programme of skills development workshops run throughout the academic year. We cover topics relevant to everyone such as academic writing, note making, critical thinking, speed reading and time management as well as researcher-specific skills of data management, metrics and getting published.

Part-time students are always welcome to join the online workshops and we offer bespoke 1-2-1 sessions with the Academic Skills Librarian (in-person or online) plus we can respond to your questions by email. We also provide a range of online materials on the Wolfson College LibGuide, which can be accessed at any time.

Get in touch if you have any questions or to book a 1-2-1 meeting. You may also want to take a look at the Wolfson College LibGuide for Academic Skills tips, tools and videos.

Academic Year 2025-26

Below is an overview of the workshops that will take place throughout the year. Stay tuned, as bookings will become available at the start of each term. The links in the calendar below link to recordings of the workshop on YouTube.

Our workshops will be delivered online on Saturday mornings from 10:00-11:30, unless stated otherwise. This is to enable as many Wolfson students to attend as possible. Occasionally, workshops will take place in person, where hands-on interactive activities are integral to the learning outcomes.
