College Nurse Clinic

Health-related information is available for students inside the clinic in Morrison House (please use the entrance labelled 'College Nurse' near to the cycle racks) and in the Lee Room. Consultations with the College Nurse, Sally Maccallum; are available without an appointment during clinic or alternatively students may contact Sally to arrange an appointment outside of normal clinic hours.

Sally can provide assessment and treatment of minor illness and injury and ongoing emotional support to both graduates and undergraduates throughout the year. She is able to help students with a wide range of medical and psychological difficulties and always has time to listen. As well as providing nursing care and carrying out dressings during clinic, she is happy to visit students in their rooms where appropriate. Other provision includes: removal of sutures, health information, relaxation, avoiding stress and sign posting to other services.

Clinic times (no appointment necessary):
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 11:00-12:00

Thursday 15:00-16:00

The College Nurse exercises her duty of confidentiality to all students and respects their right to privacy. Information shared with the College Nurse is kept strictly confidential; as with all health care environments, sharing information without consent would only occur in exceptional circumstances. Student health records are stored and processed in accord with current health and personal data protection regulations.
