Ten non-stipendiary Junior Research Fellowships (JRFs) are available in any subject, open to graduates of any university. They are tenable for up to three years from 1 January 2022, 1 April 2022, or 1 October 2022. Appointments are made for one year in the first instance, but can be renewed for a further two years.
Wolfson College JRFs benefit from an annual research allowance and dining rights.
The closing date for all applications is midday on Monday 4 October 2021.
Professor Jane Clarke, Wolfson College President, said: “Support of world-class research is central to the mission of Wolfson College. We welcome up to ten new JRFs each year and their exceptional research has significant impact across a broad range of subjects and disciplines.
“Equally importantly, our JRFs play a big part in College life here at Wolfson. They have played an important role in establishing our new Interdisciplinary Research Hubs, for instance. I’m looking forward to welcoming ten more early career researchers to our Fellowship next year.”
