Professor James Wood

Wolfson College contributes to the 2020 Cambridge Science Festival. Our final event sees Wolfson fellow Professor James Wood talk about his research on emerging infectious diseases in Africa.

Professor James Wood’s talk will explore over a decade of collaborative investigations of diseases thought to be transmitted between animals and humans (so called ‘zoonoses’) in sub-Saharan Africa. It will highlight the importance of working with local experts in different settings and the benefits to Cambridge Science, as well as to that of African collaborators supported by the Cambridge-Africa programme.

This event is part of the Cambridge Science Festival and part of Wolfson Explores BORDERS 2020.
