- Senior advisor on race and higher education to the Vice-chancellor and Distinguished Fellow of the Faculty of Education Dr Nicola Rollock gives the annual Lee Seng Tee Distinguished Lecture (Wed 5 May, 18.00).
- Dr Stephen Wilford gives a Music Society talk entitled ‘Quelle émotion, quelle sensation!’: Listening for the Past in Eastern Paris, 1931, during which he explores musical and sonic Borders through French colonialism (Thu 6 May, 18.00)
- The Science Society invites Professor James Wood to speak on Diseases without Borders: what can we do to combat the next pandemic (Fri 7 May, 18.00).
- The Interdisciplinary Research Hub on Gender organises a panel on Women's Movements Around the World (14 May, 16.00).
- A further event comes form the Humanities Society, who invited Professor Paul A. Silverstein to speak on A Global Maghreb: Crossroads, Borderlands, and Frontiers (Tue 25 May, 18.00).
