Double guest bedroom bed with soap and towels

Official Academic Visitors

This accommodation consists of both single and double en-suite rooms in Fuchs House along with five self-contained flats. Only one of the flats, Morrison House, is considered suitable for a child and then only if the child is over the age of 12. The particularly steep stairs to this flat make it unsuitable for younger children or anyone with mobility difficulties. There are also double en-suite rooms in the Chancellor's Centre which are more hotel in style all of which have access to a large shared kitchen for those who may wish to prepare light meals and snacks.

Accommodation costs given below include utilities (heating, lighting, WiFi etc.) and weekly linen/towel changes. VAT is payable on the first 28 nights of any stay. Once you have been accepted as an official Academic Visitor, you will be sent an application form to request accommodation for your stay.

Cost per week for academic year 2021-2022 (exclusive of VAT)

Single en-suite room in Fuchs House£283.50
Double en-suite room in Fuchs House£315.70
Double en-suite in The Chancellor's Centre£416.50
Self-contained flat in The ALBORADA Building£414.40
Self-contained flat in Morrison House£414.40

Please note that these prices are for Members of Wolfson College. If you are visiting a University Department then, although accommodation may still be available, different prices will apply.

Out of term it may be possible to book a student single room. Price for a single en-suite in this instance would be £228.55 per week (excluding VAT).

During the summer it may be possible to book a family flat (reserved for students at the start of each academic year). These are two-bedroom flats with the smaller room able to accommodate either a standard single bed or bunk beds. Please note that availability is not guaranteed and it is not possible to book for stays of less than two weeks. These flats are student accommodation so it is worth noting that the kitchens are not equipped with anything apart from the traditional white goods - no crockery, cutlery or utensils are provided.

Visitors requiring more spacious (including family) accommodation or to whom Wolfson is unable to offer accommodation are advised to contact the University Accommodation Service.
