The Vice-Chancellor's recent statement on behalf of the collegiate University in response to the outbreak of Wuhan Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCov):
“We share the concerns of – and express our full solidarity with – Cambridge staff and students who are worried about the health and wellbeing of relatives and friends in China and elsewhere. We will continue to assess the public health risk to our collegiate University community, and will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and students. In the meantime, we urge everyone to remain respectful and supportive of those members of our community who, at what is already a time of heightened anxiety, may feel subjected to unfounded scrutiny.”
