Many subjects present you with an overwhelming list of readings. Even when you have tracked them all down it can be tough deciding which are most relevant; you simply haven't got time to read them all.
This session will cover interpreting reading lists, searching for books and articles online, and critically evaluating them to help you decide what is going to be most useful for your work.
WolfWorks for New Undergraduates is taking place online for Michaelmas 2020. This will involve meeting on Zoom for a short introduction to the topic, a few exercises for you to try out the ideas discussed and, most importantly, an opportunity to share thoughts and questions with other first year Wolfson undergraduates. We'll have an hour-long slot and can use as much or as little as you like, depending on how much there is to say!
You will receive a link to the online session in your confirmation email.
