Institute for Manufacturing at Wolfson - Reunion Event

The reunion will be a superb opportunity to reconnect with your former classmates, fellow alumni, and current students.

The provisional programme for the day is:

14.00 Optional tour of the IFM with Tom Ridgman, Dr Florian Urmetzer and current students (further details will be sent once your event booking is confirmed)

15.00 Arrival and light refreshments at Lee Hall, Wolfson College

15:30 Welcome, followed by short talks from alumni and students.  Speakers will include Professor Tim Minshall, the inaugural Dr John C Taylor Professor of Innovation, current students and recent alumni. There will be short breaks between each talk, to give you the chance to catch up with other guests.

17.00 Closing address by Professor Andy Neely, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Enterprise and Business Relations, University of Cambridge and former Head of the IFM.

17.30 Close – free time to explore the College including the refurbished Club Room (bar will be open) and Old Combination Room.

19:00 Drinks reception and Dinner (Business Dress)

21.30 Close – bar open in the Club Room

If you require accommodation, as Wolfson Alumni you are entitled to stay in College. 

If you are unable to attend on this occasion, please be assured there will be more events to follow.  You can now save the date for next year’s Alumni Weekend, which will be held on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September, 2020.  We also hope to plan a further ISMM, ACDMM and ACPMM alumni meeting in December 2020.
