Dr Nick Evans awarded prestigious Pilkington Prize

The Wolfson Research Event (WRE) is an interdisciplinary academic conference organised by students to showcase the diversity of the research carried out by Wolfson students.
The 2023 WRE took place on Thur 4 and Fri 5 May in the Lee Hall, Wolfson College. You can view the photo album from this event on the College Flickr. You can also watch the session recordings via our YouTube channel.
The two-day conference programme was packed full of speakers and presentations, no less that 41 in total! You can download and browse the event programme for full details.
“The Wolfson Research Event is an intellectual feast,” says conference chair Konstantinos Tsigaridis. “Each year, it's a unique opportunity to broaden your horizons, delve into a variety of research topics, and engage with some of the brightest minds across different disciplines.”
The majority of the speakers came from outside the UK: a reflection of a college in which students represent over 90 countries in total.
“The diversity of the speakers, both in terms of background and subject matter, truly epitomizes the multicultural and interdisciplinary spirit of Wolfson,” says Konstantinos. “This rich tapestry of ideas and perspectives creates a vibrant research environment that encourages intellectual growth and collaborative breakthroughs.”
