In 1965, the College was founded by the University of Cambridge with a single building: Bredon House. At its inception, the College was home to six students; today, it is changing the lives of almost 1,000 postgraduates, mature undergraduates and part-time students.
Bredon House, as Wolfson’s first and most important building, remains central to the College as it is today and to its future. It is therefore fitting that exceptional munificence is recognised in a way which reflects our distinguished history and traditions, created within this building.
Current Bredon Fellows:
HE Dr Mahfouz Marei Mubarak bin Mahfouz, CBE (Hon), GCMLJ, FRSA
Professor John Hughes
Mr Mark Boyce
