Gender Hub

This event is a collaboration between the Gender Research Hub and WCSA Welfare, in the first of many initiatives to jump-start conversations about gender at college and beyond.

Our panellists bring a diverse range of experiences and backgrounds to this discussion, highlighting the intersectional and sweeping nature of violence against women. The event closes with a moderated discussion between panellists and attendees, who will be able to submit questions, thoughts, and comments to our moderators via the Zoom chat function.

Silence leads to violence. So, let’s talk.

Panelists:

Dr Heather Strang, Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge

Dr Anjali B Datta, Faculty of History, University of Cambridge, Fellow of Wolfson College

Dr Yasmin Jiwani, Communication Studies, Concordia University

Kerry Mackereth, PhD Candidate at the Centre for Gender Studies, University of Cambridge

Don't forget to register.
