Join us for a moderated ‘fireside’ panel chat that will explore what it takes to have inclusive health in the context of rapid urbanisation, ageing societies and conflict, and the role of digital innovation to support and engender inclusive systems for health globally.

Speakers

  • Dr Thiago de Sa, a public health professional working on healthy urban and age-friendly environments at the World Health Organization Department of Social Determinants of Health, Headquarters. 
  • Dr Tasnim Atatraha public health physician, is the head of office for WHO in Bahrain. She was previously the Health Emergency Coordinator for the WHO for Central Asia leading efforts to strengthen health systems and public health humanitarian responses across the Middle East. 
  • Dr Rosalind Parkes-Ratanshi, Principal Research Associate at the Cambridge Institute of Public Health, Honorary Consultant in HIV Medicine and Founding Director of the Ugandan Academy for Health Innovation and Impact, based at the Infectious Diseases Institute, Makerere University. 
  • Lundi-Anne Omam, a Public Health expert (and current PhD candidate in Public Health and Primary Care at Cambridge) with over a decade of experience developing, managing and coordinating public health interventions in hard-to-reach, post-conflict and conflict-affected communities. 

The discussion will be moderated by Wolfson Fellow Dr Tolullah Oni.
