President's visit to the United States of America

Jane Clarke

The President, Professor Jane Clarke FMedSci FRS, accompanied by the Development Director, Sian Cook, is to visit the East Coast of America from 1 to 10 March 2019.

Jane and Sian will also be hosting receptions during their trip which will be great informal opportunities to meet them, to hear about Jane’s vision for the College and to catch up with friends and alumni who are connected with Wolfson. Jane and Sian are keen to meet you and to hear your views and experiences of life at Wolfson. For more information and to RSVP, please see below:

  • Washington, Sunday 3 March, 12:00 to 14:00: brunch at the George Town Club. More information here
  • New York, Thursday 7 March, 18:30 to 20:30: wine and cheese reception. This evening is generously hosted by a Wolfson alumnus Mr Michael Jakob (1991) at his apartment near Union Square in Manhattan.   • Boston, Saturday 9 March, 12:00 to 14:00: brunch reception at Loews Boston Hotel. Register here

As part of her trip, Jane Clarke will be in Baltimore from Saturday 2 to Tuesday 5 March for the 63rd Biophysical Society Annual Meeting of which she is a Council Member, so if you are attending or in the vicinity do let us know.
