Porters’ Lodge
The Head Porter Mike Wignall and his team work very hard keeping the College machinery well oiled. The porters are generally happy to help with a seemingly vast range of things: dealing with your mail and faxes; giving out keys to just about every room in College; letting you book College and WCSA equipment, rooms, and so on. They also frank mail, sell phone cards, give out change and a whole lot more.
There is a team of full-time and relief porters, supplemented as required by students. The Porters’ Lodge is open every day from 7.00am to midnight; outside of these hours the porter should only be contacted in an emergency.
