About Wolfson

2015 marks the 50th anniversary of the College's foundation, as University College, in 1965, and we are staging a rich variety of events to mark the occasion, ranging from special lectures and concerts to important exhibitions of modern and contemporary art including from the Henry Moore Foundation and the Royal Academy.

The celebrations will go on through the whole calendar year, but their culmination is on 4-5 July, when everyone associated with the College is invited to take part in a series of special events, including a grand Commemoration Dinner.

As one of Cambridge's newest Colleges, Wolfson is proud to be a modern institution with a pioneering record, the first Cambridge College to admit men and women as students and Fellows on an equal basis. We are cosmopolitan, with 80 nationalities represented among our current students, and egalitarian, with no High Table or Senior Combination Room, and all facilities shared between staff and students alike. In our fiftieth anniversary year we will be celebrating our unique character and achievements and looking forward to the next half-century.

This website sets out the opportunities that Wolfson College offers, to both prospective and current members, whether students, researchers, teaching academics or alumni. If there is some information you need but cannot find, please do not hesitate to contact us.
