The Lee Library was built following a generous benefaction from Dr Lee Seng Tee, and was formally opened in September 1994. It is a popular place to work at all times of year, with a choice of study areas on two floors. The Reading Room on the first floor houses the main book collection, most of which is borrowable, and is maintained to support the taught courses taken by Wolfson students at undergraduate and masters level. The Sir David Williams Room on the ground floor is a dedicated study space particularly well suited to graduate students writing up long projects. Laptops are welcome and wi-fi (via Lapwing and eduroam) is available in both areas.
The Library is open 24 hours a day almost every day of the year (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and the night of the June Event), and access to the study areas is controlled by the College card. All current College Members are eligible and welcome to use the Library. Students' cards are activated for access and borrowing automatically; Fellows, Senior Members, Visiting Fellows and Scholars should contact the Librarian to arrange for borrowing to be enabled.
