Zohreh is a Research Associate at the Computer Laboratory, where she works on computational design and implementation of human-like reasoning. She is in particular interested in argumentation-based reasoning and diagrammatic reasoning. In her current research she is in close collaboration with cognitive scientists who verify the accessibility and intuitiveness of formal reasoning systems that are designed to capture the essence of human reasoning.
Prior to this, she did her PhD in Artificial Intelligence in Department of Computer Science, University of Bath. Her research during her PhD focused on practical reasoning and normative reasoning in multi-agent systems using Argumentation Theory.
