As British Red Cross Senior Research Fellow, Natália is based at the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law. She leads the team of British Red Cross researchers for the project on customary international humanitarian law (IHL), a joint undertaking of the British Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Prior to joining the project, Natália worked at the Chambers of the International Criminal Court, in The Hague, providing legal assistance to two judges. Previously, she interned with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva and the Center for Economic and Social Rights in Madrid.
Natália holds a Master’s in International Affairs from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), where she focused her studies on public international law and human rights. She graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo and is a qualified lawyer in Brazil. She speaks Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.
