Simon read Economics at King’s College, Cambridge and then pursued a career in arts management, as General Manager of The Queen’s Hall, Edinburgh, Chief Executive of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and President and CEO of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in Indiana, USA. From 2013 to 2018 he was General Director of Hawaii Opera Theatre.
Since returning to the UK, Simon has been the fundraiser for the Lincoln University Medical School and was Head of Philanthropy of the Voltaire Foundation at the University of Oxford. He joined Wolfson in July 2022.
Simon is the Chair of the Lincoln Cathedral Community Association and the Artistic Director of Abbotsholme Arts Society.
