Patrick carries out research and develops scientific software in the chemo-informatics and life-sciences fields at the Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre (CCDC), and supervises Natural Science Tripos (IA) mathematics.

Patrick’s background includes research into the theory of gas phase atomic and molecular collisions and elementary chemical reactions. He has worked on semi-classical complex angular momentum theory, phase-rules, nearside-farside theory and the Dirac equation.
