David Frost became a Fellow in 2000 and was appointed Tutor for Part Time Students in 2005. He has served as a member of Council and other College committees.
David is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education and a member of the 'Leadership for Learning' academic group. He is a founder member of 'Leadership for Learning: the Cambridge Network' which is dedicated to research and development focusing on shared leadership in educational settings (www.educ.cam.ac.uk/centres/lfl/)
He is the Programmes Director for the HertsCam Network which supports around 500 teachers who lead innovation in Hertfordshire schools. Each year 20 members of the network matriculate with Wolfson for the MEd degree. The network has now become a charitable company and has just launched a website (www.hertscam.org.uk).
David’s research focuses on leadership, organisational capacity and school improvement. He is also the founder and editor of the Teacher Leadership journal. In 2008 he initiated the International Teacher Leadership project which has partners in 15 countries who collaborate to support networks of teachers who are engaging in developing practice in their schools and building professional knowledge together. David has also led research and evaluation projects focused on student leadership.
