Vice-Chancellor appointed Chairman of Cancer Research UK

Cancer Research UK has appointed Cambridge University vice-chancellor, Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, as chairman with effect from November 1. He will take over from Michael Pragnell, who steps down on completion of his second three-year term as chairman on October 31 as mandated by the charity’s constitution. Professor Borysiewicz will step down as vice-chancellor of the university in September 2017.
