“I am absolutely delighted to see that Gordon has been recognised for his tireless work in the area of infectious diseases. We first met at the Wellcome Trust a few years ago, and my admiration of Gordon’s work began in those early meetings. His efforts to bring treatments and preventions to different areas of the globe is truly exemplary, and his recognition is so richly deserved.”

Congratulations, Gordon!
