Just announced - newPhD Studentships in the Department of Engineering

Wolfson-Newtecnic Studentships

Two studentships of £21,297 (+£5,000 for consumables) per annum, to start in October 2018 and to be reviewed annually, are available for prospective students wishing to conduct research in the field of Structural and Architectural Engineering.

The studentships are tenable for 3 years in the first instance. The research projects will have particular emphasis on novel facade systems for cutting-edge live projects.

These PhD studentships are offered by Newtecnic, world leaders in building engineering technology, in partnership with Wolfson College where students will be required to be a member. Research will be based on a high-quality project currently being undertaken by Newtecnic, that is, a challenging, feasible and realistically achievable PhD project, which stimulates excellent discovery-oriented research. Students have an opportunity to develop a range of valuable skills and significantly enhance their future careers as potential leaders in the field.
