***New*** Fines for overdue recalled books

From 1st October 2007 a charge of 50p per day will be levied for any book not returned by the due date after being recalled by another reader. This is in response to user demand. When a book already on loan is recalled by another reader the original borrower receives an email informing them of the recall and advising them of the new due date, where applicable.

Borrowing for the Michaelmas Term

Borrowing for the Michaelmas Term began on Monday 24th September. All items except Economics and SECD books borrowed since then will be due back 3 weeks after the date of borrowing. Up to 3 online renewals via Newton are available, and further renewals may be available on request from library staff, providing the book has not been requested by another reader. In order to accommodate demand Economics books are issued for 1 week, and may be renewed once only.
