Innovation Ecosystems Network

What is the IEN Network?

The Innovation Ecosystems Network draws on:

• Rich lived experience of the innovation process in the Europe-leading Cambridge innovation ecosystem, 
• Research and knowledge from around the world on the approaches and strategies to take for enhancing and even transforming existing ecosystems
• Our understanding of how AI and other emergent technologies may reshape the inputs, processes and outputs of the innovation and entrepreneurship process

It convenes many types of expertise, but four areas are central:

• Venture Builders and Entrepreneurship Support Organisations
• Innovation Hubs
• Technology Transfer Offices
• Education (primary to higher) to prepare citizens to innovate, and to found businesses

Committee Members

The Innovation Ecosystems Network is organised and coordinated by Professor Chris Coleridge and Prajakti Kalra.

• Professor Chris Coleridge is a Fellow of Wolfson College. He is Management Practice Associate Professor at Cambridge Judge Business School, where he teaches entrepreneurship and strategic management. He is also Chairman of Faster Climate Impact, the ecosystem builder for the climate emergency.
• Prajakti Kalra is Wolfson's Research Networks Manager. Her responsibilities encompass coordinating research activities, facilitating communication among scholars, and supporting the development of academic networks within the College community.
