Ideals in Action exhibition now online
An exhibition - just outside the Dining Hall - tells the story of the College's founding and its first years. Matthias Wong (PhD, History, 2015) worked with Frieda Midgley (Archivist and Record Manager) to put together this exhibition, some of which we are now delighted to share with you online.
Ideals in Action tells the story of an institution that was founded in 1965 to meet the challenges of modern education, and in whose early years it had to meet its own challenges — including securing the endowment from the Wolfson Foundation which gave the College its name.
Graduation ceremonies are the culmination of students’ hard work and commitment, and a moment to celebrate the completion of their Cambridge degree.
