This is where you will live for up to three years, and we have a host of facilities to make you feel at home as well as to cater for the necessities of day-to-day living.

The Porters can help with most questions you may have, give directions or advise how to access services.

For keeping active, we have the Gym, a tennis court and plenty of ongoing classes, including yoga and pilates.

To keep you nourished, we have our excellent cafeteria, self-catering facilities and of course Formal Hall. The Coffee Bar is open from 9.30 to 17.00 Monday to Friday, and the Bar is open in the evenings and run by students. There are vending machines with sandwiches and drinks in the entrance to J Block.

For the practicalities of life there are laundry facilities, a maintenance staff to handle any problems you encounter with your room, an IT department to help with computer-related issues and facilities for post and packages.

Your main mode of transport will probably be a bicycle, but there are some options for public and private transportation.

If you are musically-minded, we have several practice rooms with pianos and a harpsichord.
