COVID: Using the Library & Study Spaces

The Wolfson Library is now open 24/7 for college members. Members may study here, borrow and return books in person, as long as they are not in travel quarantine or self-isolating.

It is now increasingly clear that airborne transmission plays a significant role in the spread of COVID-19. We have carried out a ventilation risk assessment of the Library using a new tool provided by the University. We are committed to keeping the space open for study but the results of this assessment will require changes to how we use the Library. In order to reduce the risk to the Wolfson community we need to limit the number of people in a room at any one time and how long they spend in there. We will also be fully ventilating the rooms in the middle of the day. Many other college libraries have closed completely or are operating limited access arrangements. We hope that these measures mean that Wolfson Library can stay open 24/7.

Full details are available on the Library Webpages.
