Coronavirus: Offer holders and applicants

The University pages on Coronavirus will answer many of your questions, but we realise that the circumstances of mature applicants will often differ from those of standard age. If you have any worries about your offer, we are here to help.

Offer holders

I have a conditional offer to study at Wolfson for the next academic year and I’m worried about the disruption to my studies.

In the UK, the Government have cancelled all A-level and other exams. They have issued the following guidance. Cancellation of exams and closure of test centres may also be happening in your home country if you are not in the UK.  UCAS also has some information for both home and international students, as do the University’s pages for undergraduates, and postgraduates.

Please take a look at the University's FAQ for Offer Holders, which has updates on the situation with COVID-19.

We understand that many of our offer holders are not taking exams in school settings, or are studying on Access courses or similar and we would like to reassure you that your circumstances are not forgotten. If you have any questions please send them to our Undergraduate Administrator Debbie Miles and she will be happy to help, or she will pass them on to the Admissions Tutors if needed.

I was looking forward to finding out more about the College by visiting, what can I do?

We are running Virtual Offer Holders' sessions for undergraduates via Zoom containing the same information as the day we had to cancel on 1 May. They allow you to speak live to members of staff and current students. You should by now have received an email inviting you to register, if you have not please let our Outreach and Student Recruitment Officer know. We hope to run a similar series of sessions for postgraduate offer holders in the near future.

Make sure you take a look at our virtual tour of the College.

Prospective students

If you are thinking about applying to study at Wolfson in the future, we are still happy to hear from you. In the first instance, please contact our Outreach and Student Recruitment Officer Hannah Elkington.

You can also see a brilliant virtual tour of the College and find out about the application process and requirements for undergraduates and postgraduates online.
