| Friday 17 October | Music and Madeira - Bach Dialogues | A recital with two of Britain's leading early music specialists, Andrew Arthur (harpsichord) and Baroque violinist Rachel Stroud (violin). |
| Saturday 18 October | Lunchtime Concert - Echoes of the Poets | A beautiful programme of music for voice, piano, violin and viola including works by Johannes Brahms, Frank Bridge and Zeina Al-Azmeh. |

| Tuesday 11 November | Michaelmas College Service | A 45-minute religious service led by the College Chaplains with music from Wolfson College Choir. |
| Saturday 15 November | Lunchtime Concert - Student Musician Showcase | Enjoy performances by an array of talented Wolfson student singers and instrumentalists. |
| Sunday 30 November | Advent Carol Service | We welcome all College members, their families, and local residents to our festive Advent Carol Service. |
| Sunday 7 December | Michaelmas Concert - A Song for Peace | A special end-of-term concert by the Wolfson College Choir conducted by Lyn Alcántara, with piano by Tom Williamson. |

Musical events
We are delighted to offer a wide range of concerts throughout the year.
- Choir and Chamber Singers Concerts
The College Choir performs at the end of year garden party and various caroling events as well as our termly concerts.
Wolfson Chamber Singers sing at prestigious College dinners and events and College weddings and funerals. In summer 2025 it performed at the prestigious Thaxted Festival.
We produce major choral concerts at the end of both Michaelmas and Lent terms where the College Choir is able to showcase its work, along with talented Wolfson soloists and ensembles. Recent performances include the European premiere of Requiem for Colour at Cadogan Hall, London. We have been invited to sing at New York's Carnegie Hall in 2026.
- Lunchtime Concert Series
We hold regular lunchtime concerts on Saturdays during term time in the Lee Hall, which showcase musical talent from across the University.
- Music and Madeira
Either before or after termly Formal Halls, Music and Madeira offers professional concerts in the Lee Hall. Performances have included Deco Ensemble, flautist Daniel Pailthorpe, tenor Andrew Kennedy, Classico Latino, violinist Rachel Podger, The Revolutionary Drawing Room, The King's Men, guitarist Craig Ogden, Ignacio Maña-Mesas (saxophone), Donal McCann (piano), The Austen Trio, guitarist, Kevin Loh, BBC Singers baritone Jamie W. Hall accompanied by Richard Gowers (piano), and in 2024, The Alexandra Ensemble with musicians from the BBC Concert Orchestra and BBC Singers.
- Music Recitals
Occasional Chamber Music Recitals happen on selected Wednesday evenings and Early Music Recitals on occasional Friday evenings.
- The Mary Bevan Recital
Our end-of-year concert is The Mary Bevan Recital given by winners of the Cambridge University Concerto competition. Wolfson has many talented musicians including finalist prize winners in 2022 and 2020, and winners in 2019 and 2012.

How can you get involved?
- The College has several rehearsal spaces and keyboard instruments, and offers financial support for students of music. Wolfson has a regular stream of students studying at the Faculty of Music.
- Develop music literacy skills and music appreciation through membership of the College Choir, attendance at our concerts and access to keyboard instruments for practice.
- Would you like to give a recital in a warm and relaxed environment? If so, our Saturday lunchtime concert series is for you!
- There is a collection of scores for use by current students in the Fuchs House Music Room.
- The Music Society Committee is always looking for keen members.
- Why not volunteer to steward at a concert?
Music Scholarships
A number of musical scholarships are available for talented instrumentalists, accompanists and singers.
