College Research Associates

Chancellor's Centre, Wolfson College Cambridge Annual Competition 2017

The Annual Wolfson College Research Associate competition will be open from 1 June 2017.

College Research Associate (CRA) status is offered to those actively engaged in research within the University of Cambridge and allied institutions or independently. The competition is for entry from 1 October 2017 or 1 January 2018.

CRA status is offered for three years, or coterminous with any research post held, whichever is the shorter period. Renewal is subject to confirmation of continuing research within Cambridge.

Membership is intended to offer College affiliation to researchers within Cambridge, to facilitate engagement with Wolfson’s multi-disciplinary community of scholars. CRAs will not be elected to a Fellowship and they are not required to attend Governing Body. (This status is not appropriate for those holding a Fellowship at another College.) CRAs may participate in College functions and make full use of the facilities of the College (except the Computer Room and the Gym). They may take meals in College (breakfast, lunch, supper, Formal Hall and Guest Nights), at their own expense, and bring guests. They may also book guest accommodation in College.
