The Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) is part of the University of Cambridge’s Department of Engineering. Our research aims to help companies develop life-changing products and services, build better businesses, create meaningful jobs, and improve the environment for the future, and Governments foster innovation and enterprise to deliver social and economic benefits.
Tom Ridgman, Fellow of Wolfson College, has just retired from the IfM. A number of former students from these courses have independently asked if we could mark Tom’s retirement in a positive way. We would like to set up a bursary in his name to support a student in hardship to access the same benefit from one of these courses:
- Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management (ISMM)
- Advanced Course in Design, Manufacture & Management (ACDMM) formerly the ACPMM
- Manufacturing Leaders' Programme (MLP)
Your gift will make a significant difference to one or more students who are either about to start and don’t have enough funds, or who want to apply next year and are put off by the cost.
Please change the life of a prospective student by donating on the form below.
