Wolfson connects with alumni on visit to the USA

"Wolfson really does change lives": that was the message from Wolfson alumni in the United States, following a recent visit from Wolfson College President, Professor Jane Clarke, and newly appointed Director of College Networks, Sian Cook.

The Wolfson USA 2022 trip covered visits to Washington, New York, and San Francisco, where Sian and Professor Clarke visited with around 100 alumni, Honorary Fellows, members, students and friends.

"As ever when we have the opportunity to travel, we were struck by the warm and generous welcome we received, the fond memories for Wolfson, and support and eagerness to engage with our plans for the future," said Professor Clarke. "Not only the networks and opportunities for involvement this brings, but also developing the estate to be fit for purpose for the future.

"What we heard is that time spent in Wolfson really does change lives, open minds and creates a network of like-minded skilled professionals around the world.

"We send our thanks to everyone who helped make the trip and the events possible, to those who make donations, and those who are already involved in the Hubs and Societies.

As we left, our final message was for alumni to make it a resolution to come home to Wolfson again soon, to keep in touch, to join one of our Hubs and be an active member of the College’s world-wide community."
