Call for abstracts: Wolfson Research Event 2022

"I joined the WRE Committee because, as a PhD student in public health, one of my biggest concerns is how much incredible and potentially impactful research doesn’t make it out into the public eye due to academic insularity and lack of communication," says Wolfson Research Event (WRE) 2022 Chair, Nancy Karreman.

WRE 2022 calls for abstracts

The Wolfson Research Event is one of the highlights of the College calendar: an interdisciplinary conference showcasing the original research of Wolfson students.

The WRE team are now calling for submissions for the 2022 event, with a deadline of Thursday 16 December.

"WRE is an amazing opportunity for students doing work across a huge variety of disciplines to come together and share their passions," says Nancy. "It encourages researchers to find creative ways to speak about their research to people who are not necessarily experts in their field, along with how to expand their own intellectual curiosity.

"On a pragmatic level, it’s also an excellent opportunity for students to experience the peer review process, either through submitting an abstract or by serving as an expert reviewer. I hope students will get involved and take advantage of this opportunity to share their research with the larger Wolfson community."
