FOR ALL UNDERGRADAUTES
This session will look at:
- Unpacking a question
- Planning and structuring strategies
- Writing good introductions and conclusions
- Analysis and developing arguments
- Editing strategies
The aims are to explore what distinguishes a really good essay from an average one and how to get there. We will critique some examples of student writing and see what good plans look like.
Please note that there are separate sessions for Arts and Humanities, and for Science undergraduates.
If there are any particular areas you would like to focus on in the workshop, please contact Rupert Brown on rab88@cam.ac.uk
Places are limited to 12. If you are unable to make the workshop, please cancel your place so that it can be offered to someone else. Conversely, there must be a minimum of two students registered for this course to run.
