Writing is so much more intuitive if you can retrieve what you have learned from lectures and reading as quickly and efficiently as possible. When making notes for a long piece of writing, if you paraphrase and interpret as you go along, then you will produce sections that you can drop straight into your work.
This hands-on workshop will introduce you to different note making techniques, give the opportunity to try them out and decide which one best suits your practices.
WolfWorks Plus is for Wolfson graduate students and advanced undergraduates (2nd, 3rd, and 4th years). It will be taking place online for Michaelmas 2020. This will involve meeting on Zoom for a short introduction to the topic, a few exercises for you to try out the ideas discussed and, most importantly, an opportunity to share thoughts and questions with other Wolfson students. We'll have an hour-long slot and can use as much or as little as you like, depending on how much there is to say!
You will receive a link to the session in the confirmation email.
