Dr Aaron Ralby first came to Wolfson in 2005 to read for an MPhil in Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic. He later returned in 2008 for a year of doctoral research in medieval studies and completed his PhD at Cornell University in 2010. After traveling to work on improving his command of modern languages, Aaron set up Linguisticator, a language and memory training company. Linguisticator now provides online self-study courses in a range of languages. Most recently, Linguisticator has developed Munx VR, a virtual reality software for building memory palaces. Now, you can literally walk through the grammar of a language in virtual reality and learn your way around spatially and experientially.

The session will be chaired by the very eminent start-up veteran and Wolfson Emeritus Fellow, Professor Rudolf Hanka FRSS FEng.
