An event for those with an interest, professional or amateur, in sustainability, conservation and all things 'green'-related. All courses welcome!
On Friday 26 August we will be meeting online at 13.00 to explore “What do you care about?” and we want your ideas and your enthusiasm to set our agenda for the coming academic year. Hosted by the excellent Professor Steve Evans, in 60 minutes we will:
- Introduce the Sustainability and Conservation Hub
- Work in random groups of 4 to get to know each other, dwelling on the questions:
- What makes you most angry?
- What makes you most happy?
- Open group discussion on hopes and ambition
This is an incredibly important moment for the direction we take on this planet. Climate Change, habitat and bio-diversity loss are only part of the systemic failures that we can all see, and we have sufficient understanding to know time is running out. Wolfson wants to lead in generating real solutions and so we warmly welcome you to contribute to our Sustainability & Conservation Hub.
Not only do we want to inform and educate (of course!), we also want to get our many excellent minds together across many varied disciplines to discuss, find and action impactful solutions. And all while making friends along the way as equals in our respective disciplines.
