Facilitators
Christian Bunke is the CEO and founder of the Basck Group, leading operations in the United Kingdom, Poland, Sweden and India. Christian started his career as a patent attorney in Sweden, moving into start-ups and higher management positions at CPA Global and CVON, where he was involved in building and commercialising patent portfolios. Christian is one of the top 300 IP Strategists globally, European Trade Mark and Design Attorney, has a Mechanical Engineering degree from University of South Australia and an MBA from University of Cambridge.
Richard Bickford-Smith is an IP Consultant and specialist Intellectual Property lawyer. Richard holds a masters degree in Intellectual Property and Information Law from King’s College London as well as undergraduate degrees in both Law and Medicinal and Biological Chemistry. He supports a number of high tech and science based startups and scaleups on IP matters and is currently working towards becoming a qualified Patent and Trade Mark Attorney.
