Overview

Take a well-deserved break from the hustle of term and join us in a relaxing stargazing event!

We will be doing visual astronomy, observing the planets, stars, and other visible celestial bodies, all while we spend some time away from work.

We’ll provide hot chocolate for a warm and relaxing session, a telescope and fascinating facts about the cosmos while we immerse ourselves in the night sky.

Be sure to bring some extra layers, and feel free to bring your own cameras and binoculars.

 

Details

The event is open to all, is free to attend and there is no need to book. 

 

Access

This event will start in the Seminar Room on the ground floor of the Jack King Building. It has step-free access and the closest accessible toilet is located in our main building.

The stargazing will take place in our gardens which have fully step-free access.
