The Skills for Academic Success programme is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop skills that will support your academic endeavours.

Aimed at students that have little or no experience of creating a long document in Word, this session will give you tips to save you time when writing your thesis so that you can focus on the content. It will cover:

  • Using Zotero to create in-text references/footnotes and automatically generate a bibliography
  • Inserting multiple sets of page numbers into a document
  • Creating a table of contents and list of figures
  • Highlighting sources of information in the University on the format of a thesis
