Further details

Items/Food: All items are welcome as long as in decent (i.e. reusable) condition and ‘hand-carriable’ (nothing overly bulky). Stationary/writing paper, books, cutlery and plates/cups/utensils particularly welcome. All food items must be non-perishable e.g. dried pasta, tinned and canned goods, herbs/spices/condiments all okay. Electrical items are accepted though will be be PAT tested by maintenance at a later date before being displayed for others to browse/take. Any clarifications, email sc-hub@wolfson.cam.ac.uk

Browse/take/reuse: All College members (students, staff, Fellows, alumni etc.) are free to browse, take and reuse any items left at the Item + Food drop off anytime that’s convenient. Items will be left displayed either in the Lee Room or Club Room during this time.

After 15 July: all goods remaining will be either donated to charity, disposed of appropriately, or stored at College. Stored items will be those often requested by Freshers on arrival (e.g. cutlery, stationary, utensils etc.) and given out to them freely during Freshers Week Oct 2022. We are also looking to set up a permanent “Second Life Shelf” that will run year round for this initiative into the long-term.
