Foundation Day reception

Wolfson 55th anniversaryHelp us to celebrate what makes Wolfson special; its history, achievements and – most of all – its people.

Whilst we can't be together in person, we can, over the next two weeks, honour everything that we value about the College and our community, and bring you together virtually with an interactive programme, celebrating and reflective of everything that Wolfson is:

•    Whether it's the boats, library, garden or debating with friends, send your favourite memories of Wolfson and words of advice to share with this year's graduates and incoming students

•  Experience an "intellectual box of chocolates" by signing up to any or all of four webinars for the 10th annual Wolfson Research Event, running from Friday 19 June to Foundation Day itself, Tuesday 30 June

•  Take a virtual tour of the College's beautiful Gardens with Oscar Holgate, Acting Head Gardener, during Cambridge University's Festival of Wellbeing, Monday 22 to Friday 26 June

•  Join Wolfson's very own Eric Monkman, quizmaster extraordinaire, on Saturday 27 June, 1pm BST, for a special online quiz

•  Informal coffee with President Jane Clarke, for an update on College life on Tuesday 30 June (9.30am) - online registration now closed, please contact RSVP@wolfson.cam.ac.uk

•  ... and finally, wherever you are in the world, join me for a toast on Foundation Day and our 55th anniversary on Tuesday 30 June at 6.00pm BST - online registration now closed, please contact RSVP@wolfson.cam.ac.uk.

Joining instructions will be sent a day in advance of the event for the coffee and toast, and bookings close on Saturday 27 June at 3.00pm BST.

Any questions, comments, or memories you would like to share please send to RSVP@wolfson.cam.ac.uk, thank you.

You can also join Jane in attending the closing session of the 10th annual Wolfson Research Event, showcasing the intellectual breadth and depth of College life.

In addition to all of the other excellent events listed here, we invite you to partake in the Wolfson Decameron, an anthology of submissions covering artistic contributions of any type, taking inspiration from the 14th century Florentine poet Giovanni Boccaccio.

You can also try our delicious vegetarian stuffed aubergine recipe provided by the Wolfson College Green Society - ideal for a virtual Formal Hall!
