The Wolfson College Boat Club annual 24-hour fundraising ergathon is coming! We will line up two ergs next to each other and try to cover a total distance of over 600km.

This year we are fundraising for 2 BRAND NEW ERGS to add to our fleet  so we can ensure all eight crew members can row at once! Each erg costs £860 so we are aiming to raise £1720. Any extra will go towards the club's yearly expenses.

WHAT WILL THE EVENT ENTAIL?
We will aim to row continuously on three ergs for 24 hours (from 13.00 on Saturday to 13.00 on Sunday) in return for sponsorship. As a club, our target is to row a total of 600km.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Volunteer to erg between 30 minutes and several hours, in return for sponsorship (we aim for about £1/min). You must get your own sponsors — some have done this by erging in fancy dress, setting bets on which cox will row furthest, teaching non-rower friends to erg with them, finding boat club alumni willing to sponsor or maybe even self-funding your slots!
Sign up to row.

COME AND CHEER ON THE ROWERS
This year we will be giving prizes to the male and female that row the furthest over 24 hours. Please come and cheer on your fellow club members as well!

DONATE
WCBC does not charge membership fees so that all College members who want to row can do so without financial limitations. Please help us keep this tradition by donating today.
