Electrician

The Electrician helps to deliver and maintain an effective and high standard electrical maintenance function across the College, complying with British Standards, mandatory regulations and codes of practice for electrical systems. They will also provide assistance and support to other trades with their duties as directed by Line Managers.

£37,228 - £39,873 per annum

Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Working as part of an established team, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications;

  • City & Guilds 2361-part-1 Electrical installations
  • City & Guilds 2361-part-2 Electrical installations
  • City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing
  • JIB approved electrician
  • Safe use of electrical power tools and equipment
  • 18th Edition of electrical codes

and be self-motivated, willing to learn, and possess good communication skills.
