College talks

The College hosts a regular series of seminars arranged by Wolfson’s Humanities and Science Societies, and the Lunchtime Seminar group. These talks are open to everyone and run throughout Term.  Details of these and other events can be found at

Visiting Wolfson

Members are very welcome to visit College.  Please let the Alumni & Development department know if you plan to visit, by emailing


The College is sometimes able to offer overnight accommodation to members. Enquiries about the availability of guest rooms should be made in the first instance to the Accommodation Administrator at


All members are welcome to participate in College functions and come to lunch, supper and formal dinners in College (at their own expense) as often as they wish, with up to three guests.  Informal meals are paid for with a Catering Card, available from the Porters’ Lodge.  Please visit for further details, including meal times and Formal Hall protocol.

Formal Hall

Formal Hall is held on Tuesdays from September 2015 to 12 July 2016 and on Fridays in Full Term (please note that there is no Formal Hall during the Christmas/Easter breaks): see for dates.  Please book online by noon on the day prior to Formal Hall (or earlier) at  Additional information about Formal Hall is available at  Members are also welcome to attend College Guest Nights.  Details are at
