Whatever your goal, whether it’s just generally to keep fit, tone up, shed a few pounds or just to have fun moving to some catchy tunes – this is the society for you!
Aerobics and Zumba aim to help you achieve overall physical fitness with a combination of cardio and toning, in a motivating and friendly atmosphere. The classes are open to all ages and fitness levels, ladies and gentlemen, all are welcome. We are a friendly mix of students, postdocs and fellows both from Wolfson and other colleges.
Our classes are suitable for all levels, whether you are completely new to exercising generally, or more experienced. Our expert instructor Orsi will adapt the level of intensity of activity according to your needs and fitness. Orsi’s infectious enthusiasm will help you to push on to the next level, helping you to really get the most out of the class.
Our classes are flexible. You can join at any stage during the year, for however long you wish to, whenever you feel like.
*What a typical Aerobics class looks like*
We start off with 40min cardio, which involves easy-to-follow Aerobics dance moves. The moves are easy to catch on and repeated in every class, so no worries if you miss a few classes.
This is followed by 20min of toning: all major muscles groups, focusing on abs, legs, glutes and arms.
NEW!!! *ZUMBA classes* - Party yourself into shape!
Zumba is an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that immediately found favour with lots of Wolfsonites when it came to college a few months ago. The dance-fitness program blends Latin and international music, created by Grammy Award-winning producers, and contagious steps to form a "fitness-party" that is downright addictive.
*Meeting times & Venue*
WHEN: AEROBICS classes take place during term-time, Mondays 6:15 – 7:15pm
ZUMBA classes take place during term-time, Thursdays 6:15 – 7:15pm
WHERE: AEROBICS: Lee Hall, occasionally in the Seminar Room, check the electronic notice board at Porters’ Lodge.

HOW MUCH: Classes are absolutely FREE for Wolfson members and only £2 for everyone else!
WHAT TO BRING: Just bring your Wolfson card, some water and loose comfortable clothes.
