International Academic values Visiting Fellowship at Wolfson College

International academic accolades are nothing new to Lee J Yao. The Joseph A. Butt, S.J. Distinguished Professor in Accounting, and Marquette Faculty Fellow at Loyola University in New Orleans, is considered one of the preeminent researchers in his field and has recently accepted an honorary professorship at his alma mater of Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, as well as a Visiting Fellowship at Wolfson College.

"Both of these exceptional universities are some of the most highly regarded in the world," Yao said. “Becoming an honorary professor at Deakin is a very high honor, considering most of the academics that teach in Australia will never become full professors during their whole career. Wolfson has a reputation as a leading academic research institution and is part of Cambridge, which is ranked as the No. 1 university in the world, according to US News and World Report."

As a result of the Wolfson fellowship, Yao will spend next summer in Cambridge working with faculty and other fellows on an elite research project focusing on entrepreneurial finance.
